A FIRST LOOK AT ACNE STUDIOS SAN FRANCISCO

TEXT BY MEGAN TRAN

On Monday, August 8th Acne Studios opened their big glorious red doors on Geary St.  in San Francisco. Acne Studios has been a long time favorite and a style inspiration for TRISTYN members so you could assume we were incredibly ecstatic when we went to visit on their opening day. It was like three little children walking into a candy shop with no parental supervision. All candy. Alone. With our sticky fingers.

Once we walked in we were greeted by two wonderful sales assistants, Connor and Michael. Sally, the Email Marketing Manager, and I [Megan] are die hard Acne fans so it was definitely a pleasure walking into what felt like home.

Every angle of the store is so picture-esque so it was definitely hard to resistant whipping out our phones.

The Swedish brand always incorporates their environment into the store design, which was inspired by the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge and you can obviously tell by the bright red orange walls complemented by the white accent lights in the shape of plus signs (as pictured). Acne Studios has always been known for designing stores in the most random but historic places. Their current building was an ice warehouse previously.

If you're ever in San Francisco and looking for a place to lounge, shop, or even for a quick espresso shot, Acne Studios is the place to be. Michael will be ready for you with an espresso and a sweet *exclusive* caramel candy only made for Acne.
